The Play It Safer Network is a community based network located in northern Manitoba. Our goal is to put into service a community based approach to address Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) /Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Sexually Transmitted Infections, (STIs) Hepatitis C, and healthier lifestyle choices through education, prevention, treatment, and medical and social supports.

Our goal will be achieved by:

• Making a communication strategy to promote and market the Play It Safer Network and the HIV/AIDS, STI, and Hepatitis C resources that are available

• Implement and maintain an education program on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and STIs targeting youth

• Identifying (compile, publish, distribute) a community resource list related to education and awareness, testing, treatment, medical supports, social supports, palliative care, & gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and two-spirited people

• To improve services for individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C 

The Network welcomes anyone who lives in northern Manitoba/Saskatchewan and is living with, affected by, or has an interest in issues related to HIV/AIDS, STIs, and Hepatitis C.  The Network strives to have broad representation from all communities and sectors.
