The Play It Safer Network is a community based network in NorMan/NorSask. Our goal is to put into service a community based approach to address Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI’S) and Hepatitis C through education, prevention, treatment, and medical and social supports.

Our goal will be achieved by:

  • Making an action plan for an education program on HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C targeting youth
  • Making a communication strategy to promote and market the Play It Safer Network and the HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C resources that are available
  • Identifying (compile, publish, distribute) a community resource list related to education and awareness, testing, treatment, medical supports, social supports, palliative care, & gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and two-spirited people
  • Identifying social support needs for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C
